If you aren't logged in, click Sign In in the top-right corner of the page, then enter your email address and password before continuing. Select your profile. Click the icon and name for your Netflix user profile. You may need to skip this step if you only have one user profile on your account. Select your profile icon. Place your mouse cursor over the profile icon in the top-right corner of the page.
A drop-down menu will appear. It's in the drop-down menu. Doing so opens your account settings page. Scroll down and click Viewing activity. Find a movie or episode to remove. Scroll through the list of entries until you find the title of an episode or a show that you want to remove. You can scroll all the way down and click Show More to see older entries. Doing so will immediately remove the movie or episode from your viewing activity list; Netflix will also stop sending you recommendations based on the movie or episode. Your main Netflix profile cannot be deleted, which is likely due to how account management works on the streaming service — but any additional profiles added to your account by friends and family can be.
Simply go to 'Manage Profiles' when you're signed in via a web browser, click the edit button over an account, then select the very last option which says 'Delete Profile'. If you're sick of the suggestions Netflix's algorithm is feeding you and you want to delete your history permanently, the account management function doesn't seem to have anything to that effect. Your best bet would be to start a new Netflix account entirely — but that's a bit of a drastic step. You might just want to create a new profile within the app entirely, which will give you a fresh Netflix viewing history.
