How easy was it to get back through security? I am flying from Amsterdam on my way home to Edinburgh and got 5 hours in Heathrow. I know it is less than 6 hours Quick tube journey up to Kensington, something to eat and back in airport 3 hours tops. I will have my boarding pass already and baggage checked through from Amsterdam to Edinburgh. You're actually leaving the Heathrow air side and going land side, so you're technically not in transit anymore. The tube is going to be tight.
